JOSE PAIBA JUAREZ (JOPAY)



Realizó sus Estudios Superiores en la Escuela Regional de Bellas Artes “Ignacio Merino” en la ciudad de Piura.



Actualmente se desempeña como docente del colegio “Inmaculada Concepción”



Presidente de la Asociación de Artistas Plástico de esta ciudad.



JOPAY, con esta exposición, desea rescatar lo nuestro, de este querido Pueblo Tumbesino. Así mismo, viene trabajando en el campo de la artesanía en Pasaya, habiendo obtenido año tras año los primeros puestos, prueba de ello es que salió ganador del Primer Puesto del concurso Regional de Artesanía 2001, organizado por la Dirección Regional de Industria y Turismo



JOPAY, como firma en sus obras plasma en ellas lo mejor de su experiencia como artista plástico.


En sus obras se puede apreciar un estilo costumbrista.


Destaca también como artesano Tumbesino. Creador de los no menos famosas ESTAMPAS TUMBESINAS, Artesanía en Pasaya (plátano) única en el Perú
